Well, it has been a crazy summer to say the least. So much has happened in the past few weeks, it has been difficult to keep up. I’ve witnessed everything from baseball injuries to fender benders; and that is why I haven’t been able to update in awhile (aside from the lack of Internet availability).

However, since the end of May/early June, I accepted an internship in Atlanta, GA and moved to a great location in Buckhead. I found a wonderful little studio near Lenox Square that has two beautiful pools and a 24-hour fitness center.

The internship I accepted is at a company called Payscape Digital, which is a branch of the main company called Payscape Advisors. Payscape Digital launched at the beginning of 2015 that is best described as an “all-in-one solution” for online shopping. I like to think of Payscape Digital as a web design company, although there is much more to it. With our team of sales reps, developers, leads, and managers, so many things can get accomplished.

My role consists of managing the content people are looking to put on their site. I sit in on meetings and get to know the full scope of what a client’s intentions are for creating an online shopping cart that can either be integrated onto their website, blog or Facebook.

The internship will last for two months with a possibility of full-time employment. It has been a terrific start in Atlanta, by the help of loved ones, and I am so excited to see where I end up!

On another note, whomever may read this might know about my brother’s recent injury. We found out about five weeks ago that he has a partial tear in his UCL. The injury has put him out for a few weeks, but I think he is already on his way back to doing what he does best. The doctor said to take four weeks off and, as of yesterday, Johnny was able to start hitting again. He still has to take it easy, but I can say with full confidence that he is going to be just fine if not better!

Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July!
