The World At Large

I can’t believe that summer is already comes to an end. A part of me feels like I just graduated, but then I remember it was almost three months ago… Summer of 2015 has been a crazy one for sure and it flew by so quickly!

I’ve met so many wonderful people in Atlanta and have settled down quite nicely since the big move. I honestly didn’t think I would make it this far, but I consider myself to be extremely lucky.

In the past few weeks, I have gone to yet another festival. I still can’t believe I was able to go, since I made the decision very last minute. But, it always helps to have a free ticket thrown my way!

During my trip to Birmingham, I got to see my friends from high school I don’t really get to see that often anymore and made some great memories. The Sloss Music & Arts Festival hosted one of the best weekends I will never forget.

I was able to see some of my favorite performers like Cage the Elephant, Modest Mouse and bands I haven’t seen before like Primus, Purity Ring, Manchester Orchestra, The Avett Brothers, Young the Giant, First Aid Kit, Milo Greene and more.

However, this coming weekend should be exciting as well seeing as my favorite and only godson will be having his 1st birthday and I will be celebrating my 22nd. Time really does fly after high school. I felt like my time at Grissom went by incredibly slow, but college went by in the blink of an eye it seems at times.

Everyone’s getting married and having babies now, but what else is new…
